SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Friday its Players of the Month for September.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH: CAMERON LEMCKE, (F) POWASSAN VOODOOS: Beginning the 2021-22 season on a five-game point streak, Lemcke etched his name on the game sheet in each of his club’s victories for the unbeaten Voodoos.

In all, the 18-year-old native of Callander, Ont., notched a trio of tallies and dished out four assists along the way.

One of his goals was a game-winner for Powassan and he also set-up another deciding marker.

His seven points ties him for second in league scoring and he presently leads all NOJHL skaters in power play points with four.
