SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Thursday that its 2021-22 regular season will resume, in one week’s time, with game action getting back underway on February 3.
Following provincial guidelines, each of the 11 Ontario-based teams will be allowed to return to the ice for practices and training sessions this coming Monday (Jan. 31).
Featuring a revamped schedule, each of the NOJHL’s 12-member clubs are slotted to complete a 48-game slate, which will run until March 28.
This will include inter-divisional contests with each of the teams having two match-ups, one home and one away, against clubs from the respective East & West Divisions in the league.
A complete list of the remaining NOJHL regular season games for February and March will be released by the league prior to the resumption of play.
Further announcements, such as the 2022 NOJHL playoff format, will also be announced in the coming days.
