A man advantage marker accounted for the lone tally in the middle session as Justin Hess connected on the power play for Cochrane at 8:50.

The home side then broke the game open in the third to win going away.

Joseph Thielen had a pair of goals from the Crunch in the frame while Kyle Herbster, Nate Viberg, Nicolas Flanders, Hess and Shaver were the other marksmen.
